- With the support, goodwill and inspiration of the people
of Inning parish in Germany together with the parish priest
Fr. Thomas Pendanam and also of the financial support
of Kindermisio Werk, we could construct a school with
boarding fecilities. Jeevdan always remember them with
great respect for their financial support and inspiration.
Now we plan to have a seperate building for the girls.
And
if we get help and support from our well-wishers, we are
hopeful to achieve the target.
- The
whole Sindhudurg district does not have even a single
physiotherapist. Many physically and mentally handicapped
persons need this facility. So Jeevdan has already started
a physiotherapy unit .We plan to open this facility, not
only for the mentally challenged, but also for the common
people in this locality, those who are in need.. We have
alrady purchased some instruments but we are hoping to
enlarge to a fullfledged physiotherapy centre.
- A system of giving trainiing the mentally challenged
children, who are severe and profound, is to be established
in differnet places with the support of the local people
there. A teacher will be appointed there with the support
of the local people and Jeevdan will have the sole authority
in monitering each community based rehabilitation centre.
- Parents who would like to
ensure the future of their mentally challenged siblings
will have an opportunity to avail life long rehabilitation
at the new life long rehabilitation project CHERISH
being launched.
